A Dragonfly flits and bobs about the screen but is constantly being hassled and nibbled at by little gnats. The little nasties eventually nibble him to death but, miraculously his is reincarnated to fly (and be nibbled to death) another day. The behaviour of the bugs is computed in real-time by flash so they move in different ways every time the screensaver is started.
The animation has been created with the Flash Actionscript programming language which uses mathematical rules and formulas to create pseudo-random animations in real time. This means that every time the screensaver is started the dragonfly and its attackers will move in different directions.
