A twisting, spinning, rotational vortex creates beautiful patterns and mesmerizes the viewer. It`s similar to a kaleidoscopic effect but the elements of the vortex continually spin on slightly different rotational speeds. They come together for a time, when rotations coincide, to create beautiful swirling patterns and then inevitably drift apart as rotations separate.
The animation has been created with the flash actionscript programming languages which uses mathematical rules and formulas to create pseudo-random animations in real time. This means that every time the screensaver is started the vortex will randomly make different patterns.
