A wandering spider has evolved in to something terrible. In a strange reversal of the spiderman myth, wandering spider was bitten by a dangerous toxic man, giving it mysterious toxic abilities - to change into a random color!
The animation has been created with the Flash Actionscript programming language which uses mathematical rules and formulas to create pseudo-random animations in real time. This means that every time the screensaver is started the spider will move in different directions.
